The holiday season has arrived in Fortnite, and with it comes the return of the beloved Winterfest event. Epic Games has once again opened the doors to the Winterfest Cabin, inviting players to warm up by the fire and, more importantly, unwrap a free present every single day.
14 Days of Free Rewards Running from now until January 5, 2026, Winterfest 2025 offers a total of 16 free gifts (one daily, with some milestones). Players can visit the in-game lodge daily to claim a new item. The best part? You can shake the presents to guess what’s inside before you open them. If you miss a day, don’t worry—you can usually catch up and open missed presents before the event concludes, but logging in daily ensures you get your goods sooner.
This Year’s Highlights Among the wrapping paper and bows, players can expect to find two brand-new free skins:
- Glacial Dummy: A frozen take on the classic test dummy, unlockable after opening 7 gifts.
- Cheeks: A cozy, holiday-sweater-wearing hamster, available after opening 13 gifts.
Other rewards include the Winterfest Bow and Festive Gwinny Back Blings, the Wrapped Axe and Festive Bat Pickaxes, and the Winterfest Letter Glider.
More Festive Fun Beyond the free loot, the island has received a snowy makeover, and classic items like the Snowball Launcher and Sneaky Snowman are back in the loot pool. The Item Shop is also stocked with new collaborations, including skins inspired by Harry Potter, Sabrina Carpenter (Santa ‘Brina), and Hatsune Miku (Snow Miku).
