S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl continues to grow with its latest major update, “Stories Untold,” which brings a substantial expansion to the game’s world and narrative. Developer GSC Game World has introduced eight new missions and seven new locations, offering veteran stalkers fresh mysteries to unravel in the perilous Exclusion Zone.

A New Mystery in the Zone

The core of the update revolves around a strange phenomenon causing headaches, nosebleeds, and hallucinations among stalkers. This new storyline becomes accessible after players leave the Zalissya region, triggered by a PDA message that can appear anywhere but is most commonly found near the Burnt Forest. GSC Game World promises over five hours of new gameplay as players investigate the source of these psychic disturbances.

Key Features of the “Stories Untold” Update:

• New Content: 8 new missions and 7 explorabale locations.
• New Weapon: The GP37V2, a modified assault rifle equipped with a pre-installed suppressor and scope.
• Quality of Life: A new “simplified save option” for Master difficulty and Expedition mode, allowing players to permanently enable manual saves once per playthrough.
• Bug Fixes: The patch addresses various technical issues, including optimizations for mutant models and a fix for a bug that caused massive mutant hordes to spawn at the Plant location in the Garbage region.
