Dispatch Confirms Major Performance Boost for Nintendo Switch 2 Version
AdHoc Studio has officially peeled back the curtain on the technical specifications for the upcoming Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 ports of their superhero workplace comedy, Dispatch. The reveal highlights a significant performance leap for Nintendo’s next-generation hardware, confirming 60fps gameplay for early adopters.
Switch vs. Switch 2: The Breakdown
According to the official announcement, the game will offer two distinct experiences based on the hardware:
- Nintendo Switch: The game will target a native 720p resolution at 30 frames per second (fps). This ensures a stable experience for the massive existing user base of the original hybrid console.
- Nintendo Switch 2: Players on the new system will enjoy a substantial upgrade, with the game running at 1440p resolution at 60 fps.
This confirmation of 1440p support aligns with growing expectations that the Switch 2 will bridge the gap between portable convenience and higher-fidelity home console gaming. Additionally, AdHoc Studio confirmed that players who purchase the game on the original Switch will receive a free upgrade to the Switch 2 version, allowing them to carry their purchase forward seamlessly.
Release Date
Dispatch is set to launch on both Nintendo platforms on January 28, 2026.
