Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma suggests the next mainline entry could draw inspiration from the recently released Switch 2 spin-off, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. Speaking to 4Gamer, Aonuma hinted that the collaboration with Koei Tecmo might influence future gameplay mechanics.
